For institutions, we may collect student records, academic data, and administrative information as required for service delivery.

Your information is used to: provide and improve our services, personalize your experience, communicate updates and support, process transactions, ensure platform security, comply with legal obligations, and generate anonymized analytics. We never sell personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Data is stored on secure servers with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. We implement role-based access controls, regular security audits, and 24/7 monitoring. Data centers are ISO 27001 certified with geographic redundancy. Indian user data is primarily stored within India per data localization requirements.

We share data only with: service providers under strict confidentiality agreements, legal authorities when required by law, and institutional administrators for their users. EdEase may be used by educational institutions serving minors. We collect only necessary educational data with institutional and parental consent. Enhanced protections apply to data of users under 18, including restricted access and additional security measures.

International Data Transfers

For global operations, data may be transferred internationally. We ensure adequate protection through Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, and binding corporate rules. Users will be notified of any significant changes to data transfer practices.

Data Retention

Personal data is retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years for legal compliance. Academic records may be retained longer per educational regulations. You may request earlier deletion where legally permissible. Anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for research.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email and platform notification 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Historical versions are available upon request.
